It’s been a rough week for our family. I tried to build, but I just couldn’t focus. My aunt passed away after battling cancer since December. She fought so bravely and showed such strength, but maybe it was truly her time.
I’m very close to my cousin, and my heart aches especially for the youngest, who is only 8 years old. I know I need to stay strong for them. Our family will be there, and I’ll make sure to always support and care for them.
For now, I think I’ll take a break from the more challenging kits and spend some spare time on an easier build, just to keep my hands and mind gently occupied. That’s my little update for today.
@Anje_Leonoza_Mira so sorry for your loss. I know it’s hard and difficult. Use this place as a great reason to Escape harsh reality even for an hour. Wishing you the best of luck and good wishes.
Anje, I am sorry for your loss of your Aunt. Cancer is not nice. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers for you and your family.
Yes do something peaceful for yourself.
I’m so incredibly sorry for your loss, Anje. Your aunt fought so bravely. Sending so much love and prayers to you and your family, especially to your cousins. Taking a break for an easier, gentler build sounds like the perfect way to look after your mind right now. Please be kind to yourself.
So very sorry for your loss. I love that you want to be there for them. As you walk with them and hold them up, remember to take care of yourself as well. Prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I can completely understand stepping away from more challenging builds right now and choosing something gentle and comforting instead. I hope those quiet moments of creating bring a little peace to you and your family while you support one another.
I am so sorry for your loss! Sending prayers and love your way. I’m here if you ever need someone to talk to! Just try to ease your mind a little with an easier kit. I hope you’re okay
