I wanted to share a special moment with you. Many of us on the community have formed friendships of a sort. I know I have! Yes we all share our builds but in some of the contests little parts of us are shared and a connection forms. I had the great pleasure of meeting Tina and her husband back in April ( @tkaplan ). We are fortunate to only be a State apart! So many of you are an ocean away! So we are content with messages and replies on this community or perhaps became friends via facebook! I am gratefall for those I connected with through fb messenger. Texts are good but…
Well imagine my surprise the other night when my phone rang! Caller ID said messenger phone call from Suzanne Jones!
OMG I picked up the call immediately. I was able to talk to my friend in Australia! What a treat.
Sue and I talked for over an hour and I loved every moment. @robotime you hoped to create a kind and caring environment and well I think you did!
Lets all keep that in mind as we post and reply. We all have made friends. I treasure these moments and hope you all get to experience as well!

That is such a lovely experience. That is the reason why I joined this community and continue to promote and share what I am doing because I love connect with other crafters across the globe. It’s nice to know that you have build this friendship from this forum. Such relationship it’s just meant to be.
That’s pretty awesome actually. I have connected with others via YouTube and instagram from this group as well!! But a phone call wow that’s kinda cool.
This is such a sweet post! It’s so amazing to be able to make friends here and have such a strong community. It was something I didn’t know I needed in life and now I’m absolutely in love with it!

As a single I’m on my own most of the time. So I love to have this social network outside of my job, friends here and my family. Thank you for brightening up my life
Seriously! I could not believe it when I saw the name on my phone (thus the picture!) We teased each other about accents as I am sure I do not have one and sound just like people on TV. I was told otherwise LOL! But what a nice time chatting.
Tricia, I so agree. But I never thought to feel the connections when I first joined. I feel like I know a bit about many here and I actually care about all of you! I am excited to see the wedding coming up for @Cozy.little.palette . I was worried about the dog you found. I was excited for those having meet ups. I loved to hear that @Jerry_Boswijk was going to create this Mad Max. I look forward to seeing @mchipman and the resin stuff. I was nervous for @Tkaplan and her Dad (I called her to talk!) I worried for @Nita_Davis and these are just a few examples of the many things.
I am so glad to have found all of you and I only hope this continues!
Reading this is so heartwarming this is why I love this community too. It’s because we get to connect with people from miles away with shared interest and we get to root for them too on their creations and even on events in their lives. So lovely that friendships are formed.
