[Heartwarming] A special build for Father’s Day

Hi everyone!

My leaderboard prize has finally arrived!

This time I placed 14th, so Robotime chose a kit for me… and the one I received is Global Wonders!

I’m happy with it. It looks like such a fun and meaningful build. My sister actually suggested that I save it to build together with my dad for Father’s Day, so I’m waiting for a weekend when he’s available so we can do it together :face_holding_back_tears:

I think it could be a really special moment, building it side by side.

What do you think? Do you think this is a good kit to build together and create a nice father–daughter memory?

I do not know if it is good to build as a team but the moments with your dad are precious!

Congratulations on your win! This one might be okay as a team effort. You sand, he waxes. There could easily be some blue paint involved for one of you to do on the water. Maybe even just a simple stain on other areas…if it is nice enough to work outside on it. I know it will be a great experience for both of you.

That’s so lovely :face_holding_back_tears: I love that you shared it with your partner! It makes it even more special when you build it together. I’m glad he’s enjoying it!

That’s so true, Jeanne. In the end, it’s more about the moment than the build itself. I’m really looking forward to that time together heheh

Thank you so much! I love the idea of sharing the tasks, but I think for this one I’ll keep it as it is without painting. I want us to enjoy it in a simple way together

Congratulations on your prize. It’s a wonderful idea to work on this together with your dad, if he likes to do this. I know my dad would not like to help, or build one himself, but I guess he wouldn’t mind receiving it as a gift once it is made by me
