We met online and I forced him to go out with me after a week of talking on the phone. We got together and he moved in after a week and we have been together for 8 years
I would love the beetle or butterfly kits. The bug kits are my favorite
Thank you so much! We do feel very blessed. Thanks for the good wishes. I wish you happiness as well.
Thanks Nita! I think it would be awesome. …Maybe someday. Although, I’ve heard flying nowadays isn’t what it used to be. He is a gentleman for sure. He still opens my doors for me, let’s me order first, holds my hand and is my best friend. I wish everyone would find their special someone.
Congratulations on 30 years together and the grandchildren as well. You sound very happy Jo. You’re right, any kit is a prize.
Awesome Brenda! I think the 80s were a great time to find partners/spouses. lol. That’s a sweet sentiment about not being alone and that they’re loved.
Welcome Julie. Congratulations on your 20th anniversary in August.
Well 32 Years ago at work and a first kiss on Christmas eve. As to the choice ROKR Red Rose Bouquet. I would look good on her desk.
What a cute story…A match made in heaven to move in so quickly…I am happy for you!
Did he move in voluntarily or did you make him ![]()

I liked his dog
My boyfriend and I met 24 years ago, I was 26 & he was 29. We met through a mutual friend. After he picked on me all night like a 5th grader (kicking the backs of my legs, tapping my shoulder, being generally obnoxious, etc), we hung out just driving around all night long and that was it. A week later we hung out again, he asked for my number and we’ve been together ever since. I moved in with him just shy of 3 months later.
I’ve had my eye on several kits, I gave my dad the pinball one 2 years ago and would love to have that for myself. Any of the cute little building ones, Santa’s workshop or the little coffee shop. I just love building things, and especially love miniatures! Never had Legos as a kid but I sure enjoy them now!

My valentine is my wife. We met in 1987 at a bowling alley. I noticed her while I was bowling 1 night. In her jeans and cowboy boots. So I made up a excuse for her to sub on my team. And she agreed. It was love at first site. We hit it off well. Then I asked her out for a date. She had 9 month old twin girl’s from a previous marriage but that wasn’t a issue seeing i had 2 daughters also from a previous marriage. We dated less than a year and got married. Then we had 2 more girl’s. For a total of 6 beautiful girl’s. We’ll they are all grown and have families of there own. We are the proud grandparents of 9 grandkids. Besideus spending time with our grandkids I have many memorable moments with my wife. Too many to count. This is a photo that was taken on our last cruise. We have have been on several but this one was the best. We took my 93 year old mother and my sister’s with there spouse’s. We turned that photo into our Christmas card. Just being with my wife celebrating our 38 year anniversary and family is my latest memorable time. If I had to choose what I would like to win I would have to pick the roses
I have given my wife more roses
than I can remember but after awhile they die. With these roses
they would latest a lifetime.
I was at university and decided to go to the Engineers Ball - however I didn’t have a partner to take! The girl that was my “girlfriend” at the time was messing me around, so a friend that I had been at ‘high school’ together and was at University with me, said that his girlfriend has a friend who she was sure would be willing to go to the Ball with me. So my friend arranged to take me and meet this girl.
And I can still. remember walking into her home and seeing this sweet, beautiful girl sitting on the chair wearing a blue dress. She accepted my invitation to go the Ball.
The following day I went to buy the tickets for the Ball - only to find out they were completely sold out! Ooops!
Now I had to go back to her and explain to her why I was such a flake….. and as a peace offering I invited her to a movie instead (which she graciously accepted - whew!!) We went see a ‘chick-flick’ - I cannot remember a thing about the movie (I was probably out on Cloud 9) - I do remember the movie’s title was “Jeremy”!!
Well, that was some 52 years ago and we are going to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary in March this year!
God really blessed me with a wonderful. and beautiful wife and partner - we have been through thick and thin - she has been with me from South Africa to living in Australia and then moving to western United States of America and now to the eastern USA.
The Book Nook series are great - I would gift the Rolife Holiday Garden House DIY Book Nook Kit TGB06
What a beautiful life you created together! Wishing you many more years of happiness! @Jay_Hunt
WOW! FIFTY-TWO years…That is like a lifetime pretty much. You definitely found the ‘right one’. Have you thanked your friend lately? ![]()
And many more years to come.
Me and my partner met in university, we were partnered for a lab project and found out that we got along better than we expected and a few months later we started dating. One of my favourite moments of the two of us was probably our first date, we went to an artist’s market that was occurring near us and one of the booths was selling miniature kits from overseas so we both bought the same one and went home to craft them together.
A Rolife kit I would choose to gift the would be the flavory cafe miniature house because it’s so cute and it doesn’t have any paper flowers which I think my partner would really appreciate after struggling on the flower shop sets.
It sounds like you both found a hobby to love together. That’s very sweet of you to think of his disdain with the paper flowers and opt for something without them. I am totally on board with that…LOL! @Em_Pod
My husband and I met online in 2006. We went to a fancy restaurant where he used a coupon to pay. Little did he know, I love using coupons. Must have been meant to be. We have built a life together with our 2 boys, a cat and a dog and first granddaughter on the way. We enjoy traveling anywhere warm and love just sitting on the beach. I would give any of the flower kits. They are so beautiful and my absolute favorite.
