I attended Auckland’s Robotime workshop on 13 June, hosted by our lovely @JDisaduck Despite being in the middle of winter here in Auckland, the atmosphere at the workshop was so warm, cozy and fun that time flew by before I knew it.
As a new builder, I was surprised by how relaxing and therapeutic it was. Putting all the tiny pieces together and watching every little detail come to life was honestly so satisfying
Thank you again @JDisaduck for hosting this lovely event. I had such a wonderful time and loved every minute of it. I’m already looking forward to my next build!
I’m so happy that you enjoyed yourself with the lovely Jade. Welcome to the community.
You’ve done a fantastic job in building the coffee cart and discovering the joy that comes from building.
@Pb.j welcome to the community, and thank you for sharing your Auckland workshop experience. It is wonderful that your first build felt relaxing and therapeutic, and the coffee cart is such a cute way to begin. Hope this is the first of many tiny worlds you enjoy making.
Aww, what a wonderful first experience! The coffee cart looks absolutely adorable, and it’s always so nice to hear when someone discovers just how relaxing miniature building can be. There’s something magical about turning a pile of tiny pieces into a beautiful little scene. It sounds like the workshop was the perfect way to spend a winter day. Warm company, creative fun, and a cute Robotime project to take home… what more could you ask for? I have a feeling this might be the start of a new hobby for you! Once you finish one build, it’s hard not to start looking for the next one. Congratulations on your first build, and welcome to the wonderful world of miniatures. Can’t wait to see what you create next!
