Glow at night 🌙

Inspired by @Liset ’s cabinet, I also added LED strips to my own cabinet, both at the top and bottom.

I suddenly remembered that we also had some LED strips from Action at home, just like Liset. I took them from my boyfriend — he wasn’t using them anyway  In the end, it created a magical atmosphere. The purple glow of the LEDs pairs beautifully with the warm yellow light from my Sakura Densya Book Nook.

Now I think, I need more glowing models. Can someone recommend me some of them?

I also have a Sakura Journey miniature, but it’s hard to me to plug it in. I’m looking for something with batteries in it.

Like Sakura Journey, the Sakura Dreamy Tour also comes with a cable
Maybe another book nook, like Sakura Wine Alley?

Looks like you will need some suggestions from @Terranoir123.

Hi Arcture,

Adding lights does make it brighter, and you have many options on this front. Trying to hide the wires might be hard, so I added fake moss and sakura glitter to cover most of the lines.

  1. For Simple additions of light and manual switching, the colored and warm lights work well for the price point. Please note that, after many uses, the HOBAY lights seem more durable and more sturdy.

  2. If you want a remote-controlled experience, the battery pack one works very well, and I use them for my Sakura Tree House and other models.

  3. If you don’t want any wires, then the Magnetic LED Lamp can work as well. They can be placed in many small places and add the ambience needed. You just need to wave a magnet near it, and it turns on.

You have many choices, and I look for the best price point and use. Those magnetic ones can be smaller as well, but take note of battery life.

I hope this helps shed light on what I use and I have used this on my Gundams as well. Ali Express also sells USB LED strips as well if you want to go that route as well.

Regards,
Terra
