The Mississauga meetup was wonderful. Met a wonderful group of crafters of all levels and shared some ideas and hints and got some much needed help! I really liked seeing some kits that I had not seen before! The Eiffel Tower that someone completed was beautiful. So many new kits I want to buy. Thank you @Orangesareus for organizing and providing drinks and snacks. Thank you ROKR for providing the kits. It was a nice bonus to have tools available for everyone! I think having more examples of ROKR/Robotime/Rolife kits on display would entice more people to expand their horizons. I hope everyone in this community gets a chance to meet up with others all over the world! It was amazing!

Hang on! I thought the meet ups were for anyone not just noobs (not being mean)! I’ve been doing ROKR for years and was looking forward to meeting others like me. Are the meet ups intended to introduce ROKR to new people! If so, oops on my part!! I think meet ups for accomplished builders is a great idea. I really would like to meet other fans/builders to share notes/stories. I guess that is what THIS FORUM is for. Oh well. I had fun. I built the pump action gun. Don’t remember the part number.
Right now I am assembling Lisa’s Tailor and helping a friend with an old build that didn’t run. It was his first build in 2019/20. I’ve basically taken it apart and am WAXING like mad and trying to put it together. Had to craft a part that was lost from some old kit wood I keep but also had to glue a piece I broke (dried out wood is fragile). Definitely a different kind of challenge but a challenge nonetheless.
As far as I know, everyone is welcome whether they are new to Robotime or not.
