Thankfully you were able to fix it, super glue is a crafters best friend
Good advice! I’m glad it’s working well.
It is such a great progress. Very nice so far @jeanneL
Great progress! Those tiny details in the illustrations can be so easy to miss, so your tips will definitely help anyone else building this kit avoid having to disassemble and redo sections. The little “R” reminder and the color difference are especially helpful, keep the tips coming!
Ohhhh exciting. I love watching things come together. Can’t wait for the next update.
Thank you for your tips @jeanneL . I haven’t built this yet but it’s on my wish list.
You’re making great progress! ![]()
Thanks for this post. It will be useful once I get to build mine.![]()
What are you using for gear lubrication? It does not look like wax. Are the gears plywood or MDF ?
I am using a wood lubricant. It is like a paste. I used on the harp and it worked well and is still working well. I know it would be best on plywood over the MDF
I will be honest, I have no real clue with wood. My husband thinks MDF.
Wow! Great progress @jeanneL and thanks for the tips.
It’s looking amazing already! You’re doing a great job on this
I also really appreciate you including tips in your posts. You’re so thoughtful for sharing.. it really means a lot to our community ![]()

Thanks David. I have had a couple issues since but all were fixable!
I find that with Rolife and the way their instructions are, I rarely miss anything. ROKR, I do and Rowood always missing things. I do not care for their instructions at all, especially if a bouquet type
You are most welcome Anne! I am glad to help!
It is becoming a bit more complicated as I move forward.
well it was but after this post, yesterday went downhill. It was like every piece I touched was cracking.
