So it may not look like much progress was made, but many many hours have been spent today distressing 2 pieces of furniture, taking the tree to the next phase, and prepping 4 more pieces of furniture to get to the distressing stage.

The Tree has had its dry-brush. Next up for this one is decay, mould, mosses and dead vines.

2 sets of funiture parts has been distressed with aging the colour with sanding, and a ligle wash for water staining. Still have mould and decay to go on these.

I also realised that 2 of the pieces I am working on have paper components to stick on them. Completely unsuitable for the theme. See the originals below outlined in Red.

So I have re-created these, printed and put through my cameo machine and now have the following which will replace the originals. These have been watermarked in case anyone gets any funny idea’s.

So it is definately slow going aging things, but oh so worth it.

This looks very good and I love the tree. And I was honestly a bit worried that your work would look like my Thornfield, but I’m happy you got in another direction. Well done :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
