I finally received my building and paint and brushes and stuff.
So the big experience has begin. This is my first attempt at making a building.
I spend 2 hours using a hobby knife to cut of chips from the wooden doors and make grooves in the wood. I painted them with my new paint and brush to make it look weathered.
A mate if mine 3d printed a set of pipes i primed and used a paint marker to colour metallic.
Next op gluing the walls and applying a layer of modge podge to protect it from the paint and not to melt it.i used a pen to make the grooves bigger and pushed some stones inward and removed some to create a uneven surface.
Tonight inwill start with a red brick base layer.
I stopped as a brand ambassador so that is why im no longer in the groups but i will be here from time to time to check in and keep in contact. You can also connect to my Facebook profile to keep in touch and see more updates on my projects
Jerry, I am loving what you’re doing here. The weathered doors are simply amazing.
If the last picture a kit you have bought, or are you using it as inspiration? It looks fantastic.
I’ve been missing seeing you around but I’ll catch you up on FB.
At least you are giving new things a try. I did a whole lot of trying and experimenting on all kinds of things over the course of a couple of years. I enjoy watching your process. It will all turn out well in the end
