Well, they give you a piece that is about 30 cm long to go around a 3cm waist. I have opted to do some Gathering with the old standby needle and thread.

I did not realize that there is another layer to go over this first layer so I will be doing that same thing again. Had I looked forward in the directions, I would have done the two of them together.

This tiny little waist is going to get a bit thicker. On another note, the white glossy “paper” that I thought I was missing in a previous post is actually the satin fabric. :rofl:. I opted to use some extra lavender crepe paper that I used for the backing so that is how it will be.

I actually like the lavender backing. It adds a touch of colour to the dress.

You are so creative. I can find solutions for problems most of the time, but when missing a piece of fabric, I might completely black out.

And a little thicker waist will not be so bad :winking_face_with_tongue:. It’s all very small. You’re doing great!

Thanks so much…and I never meant anything bad about the thicker waist. I’ve been ‘body-shamed’ for being 90 pounds.

Oh, I didn’t mean anything bad about it either. I know the feeling, I even got body shamed by my ex :thinking:.

I just wanted to say that however the waist it, it will look beautiful :relieved_face:

That’s why he’s the EX, same for me. 17 years single now…but this only recently happened to me by an overweight person… and some just don’t get it. I never prayed to be as small as I am.

That truly is not okay. Nobody should make another person feel bad about themselves.
