A couple more hours today and a little bit of progress. I decided that I’m going to add a light to the second floor, so when I had to attach the downstairs light to the under side of the bed I used what I had on had so that it could match the one I will add upstairs. I also decided to use fabric on the bed instead of the paper that was supposed to be used.
The loveseat that sits outside by the front door is so cute. I decided to paint it and also added fabric to the blue striped eraser because I didn’t like that look. I also added a piece of fabric for the blanket instead of using the paper that was supposed to be used.
I had painted the sofa because pink just didn’t fit the outdoorsy cabin vibe, but I decided to leave the pillows as they were because cabins always have an eclectic feel to them with mismatched items for decor.
Oh my goodness! You are changing quite a bit and I am loving all of your ‘renovations’. I will be looking forward to your updates. In the meantime, wishing you safe travels.
Oh Tkaplan, your cabin is looking so cozy and unique! Swapping that paper for real fabric is such a pro move for adding extra texture. I am especially loving the more outdoorsy color palette you chose for the furniture! Enjoy your trip and we cannot wait to see your next update when you are back.
