I got to work a little bit today before I head to Chicago for the miniature shows. I decided that I like the look of the dark green paint I used for the love seat, so I painted the window frames the same color. I like it so much better than the light brown of the original wood. The green really brings out the green of the roof and feels like it fits better in the outdoor setting. The window seat is a nice touch.
I’m still deciding where to put the light that I want to add in the upstairs. I won’t be back from Chicago until Saturday, so I’m sure I will be excited to get back to this build. I’ll figure out the second light this weekend. Until then…enjoy your builds!
The dark green was such a good choice, it suits the cabin so well, Tina. I really love how it ties in with the roof and gives the whole build a more cozy outdoor feel
The dark green paint you chose for the window frames looks absolutely beautiful and perfectly captures that cozy forest atmosphere. It is so inspiring to see your unique creative touches like the matching window seat and floor railings. Safe travels to your shows in Chicago and we look forward to seeing how you light up this lovely cabin.
