Aww this is a dream come true! :pink_heart: I’ve always wanted a dollhouse growing up (Barbie is way too big) so I’ll be building vicariously through you!

Thanks. I’ve already got one room planned. I’m going to put a greenhouse/sunroom in. Normally it would be at the back of the house but there are no windows at the back.

I like the pistachio but hope it works with the stone look. I still have half the house to do finish the egg cartons with though.

That is an awesome idea Tina. I have wooden shingles from Temu but the idea of gluing them to sandpaper to give more texture sounds fantastic.
I might have to spray paint it though because painting it would play havoc with a brush.

Why don’t you try? This is just a cheap house from KMart (or Temu) that I can experiment on before I commit to an expensive house. And I have bought some cheap little kits that I want to use the furniture from.

Aww, the honest answer is that I don’t have the time or creativity for it right now. :sob: I’ve also got a big backlog waiting (I keep buying) so I enjoy watching others make theirs. :pink_heart:

Suzanne_Jones, that dolls house dream sounds like such a lovely one to finally start, especially with adult kids still at home and needing something that fits just right. The Temu and KMart twist gave us a good chuckle, what a surprise on the shipping label! We are so excited to see this one slowly come together.
