[Challenge & Achievement] Glass Greenhouse - Cute and annoying

Yesterday evening, I came out to our living area with another kit in my hand.
Husband: “Are you going to have more than one on the go at once?”
Me: “Yep”
Husband: “Why don’t you finish the one you are working on”?
Me: Tries to explain the level of detail required doing Mrs Charlie etc and that I wanted something simple to do in an evening.
Husband: “That makes no sense”.
Why are men so logical (sorry to the males in the group but I’m pretty sure you would have sided with me).

So, I was originally planning on doing another small shop and then found my greenhouse.
I’ve loved this since I first saw another community member build this months ago.

It is so CUTE.
But there are plants and flowers - ANNOYING.

I cracked a piece but a little bit of glue made it all better.
And I put the window frame bases in back to front (clearly not reading the instructions properly).
The plastic window inserts behaved themselves for me and look great (even the curved pieces).

My little mistakes don’t affect the aesthetic at all and I am in love with this tiny greenhouse.
I find that green is such a calming colour.
It’s tiny and adorable.

I get it. I’m male also. Sometimes you need a simple Kit to put together to reset your head and get back to enjoy building it, instead of just focusing on building.

Explain to him that sometimes we just have to step away from the challenge and work on something with more instant rewards! We can then return to the really difficult one and work on it some more! I think most of us understand that! LOL

I get that. But he’s logical ha ha
I knew the men in the community would understand me

Yes, we do. When he’s being logical it is hard to argue

This is so tiny and cute. I really love the flowers and the color green. It’s very calming. I wish it was real life to go inside, that would be so cool!

Oh my goodness! I absolutely LOVE the colors on this one. I have 3 in progress…but who’s counting? NOT me. I can feel your frustration on the plants. I hope this one goes well for you!

Beautiful greenhouse. I’m an eternal multitasker. I’m more of I want to build two or three kits all at once and with other side projects in between.

Suzanne_Jones, the greenhouse sounds like the perfect mix of cute and slightly stubborn. Even with the cracked piece and the reversed frames, it is wonderful that the calm green look still won you over!

I dont know why but my body doesnt allow me to start another kit while currently making one

I think we all have reached that point at one time or another. I recall seeing many who start a project and then out of nowhere, they have a completely finished project other than the one they have updated on. I have had my pinball machine on hold forever.

Oh! A green house! I want one! I have always been fond of building flowers.
I also tend to jump from one build to the other when I get frustrated.
Thanks for sharing!

This is such a great build. And I totally get that you wanted to do something else even though the other one isn’t finished yet.

I will be making a kit to that is not my usual go to kind of kit. And I’m afraid, I might mess it up if I don’t switch with another kit during the building process. I’m sure it will be the kind where I need to take a little break and continue later.

This kit is adorable, I saw it on the web recently and I’m tempted to get it.

Yeh, I’m thinking of working on a non-Rolife one tonight that I’m going harvest items from for my dollhouse

The details are beautiful Nicole. Thanks for commenting

The flowers are a bit fiddly and the wood is thin but it only has just over 100 pieces. I think it would be okay.
