I remembered doing the magic cello and it was folded paper but I didn’t keep it. I should have kept it at least.
I agree I also keep my instruction manuals. It’s almost like documenting them with it. I write on the back of mine, the number of the project that it was for me and the date that I finished it. They are all jumbled up in a drawer, but the drawer is so full. I can’t put any more in it so I’ve been trying to decide where I need to move them too. I also keep all of the spare parts as far as the screws or knobs or drawer pulls, foliage, things like that, but I do not keep spare wooden pieces.
So I think I should scan and save pdf file
I always keep all my manuals.
I sometimes keep the part brochure as well with the shapes of the pieces. I keep this in case I may need to make a piece of furniture and it can be used as a template. I keep this inside the manual and then they are kept in a box.
For now I have kept all the boxes and manuals. I might need to organize them better thought, and in that case I could keep the manual and the spare parts and throw away the boxes and the leftover wood.
@Tkaplan i keep all mine and the boxes ! Xxx and date each one when ive completed it xxxx
Oh, how I’ve missed your creative and interactive topics ![]()
I keep all of my manuals! Mainly for both reasons: to keep a track of my builds and to have something to rely on if any of them were to need a repair or something.
@Tricia12 hopefully you won’t need it. ![]()
That’s a nice idea to write the completion date. I will do that on my next builds.
I do keep my manuals on a clear book because I find it easier to flip on pages when looking for a particular manual.
@Kim_Kieffer I put all of the kit specific leftover wood pieces with the instruction manual. Then the other extra pieces like foliage, wire, beads, etc, I put away in my drawers. I have specific drawers for specific items. I love organization! ![]()
That would be a good idea @ThaoNguyen
@Zoe_Lau great minds think alike! Lol
@Suzanne_Jones I do that as well!
oh wow! Where do you keep all of them?
@Minus_88 now that Summer is coming, I have been keeping all of my boards to use as kindling for campfires.
@TheToday you think like me! (Scary thought) hahaha
@Jo1 yes, I wrote the completion date on the instruction manuals, too.
That’s a great idea as well @Jill_Francisco !
That is not a bad idea. I think my dad can use it as well for that purpose.
