Yes, really haha! It started as a real empty cup, and I cut it open and slowly adjusted leftover miniature pieces inside until everything fit. The warm light definitely makes it look a little unreal!

Thank you so much! I honestly hadn’t tried turning discarded household items into a miniature scene like this before either, so it felt like a small experiment. It’s funny how something we might have thrown away can suddenly inspire a whole new idea.

I’ve been meaning to try something like this but inside a glass jar or a lantern but I don’t think I’ve ever gotten round to it but your cup is so inspiring thanks for sharing it with us! :heart:

Thank you so much! The Borrowers comparison made me smile. That tiny hidden-world feeling is exactly what I love about miniatures. A glass jar or a lantern would be such a magical version too, especially with a warm light inside. I hope you try it when you get the chance. Starting with just one little corner might make it feel much less overwhelming! :face_with_monocle:

I love this!! :face_holding_back_tears: Turning an everyday cup into this is such a creative idea. I’ve actually been wanting to do something similar with my Chagee milk tea cups because the designs are so pretty and have that elegant Chinese-inspired tea aesthetic. This makes me want to finally try it! :hot_beverage:
