Of Cups, Pandas and Possibilities: When Little Finds Spark Big Ideas

Slowly Getting There… :panda::mahjong_red_dragon::teapot:

This little project has been sitting in my pipeline since the beginning of the year. It started simply enough: I fell in love with the beautiful CHAGEE cups. I actually had the white ones with the blueprint before, but they ended up collecting dust, so I eventually let them go.

Now I’ve slowly collected a few materials for the idea I’ve had in mind—including these newer blue cups, which I think are also beautiful (I have 4 plus another one of their cups that has a collab with MoMA). Yesterday, I even picked up this little Mr. PA blind bag just because I wanted a panda… and then it came with a mahjong tile! :panda::mahjong_red_dragon:

So now I’m thinking… maybe a little mahjong room? Or perhaps a dim sum restaurant? Maybe a tearoom?

Honestly, I have no idea yet.

I still need a few more pieces—especially the lighting—but it’s slowly getting there. For now, I’m just collecting little things and seeing where the project takes me.

Sometimes the best part is not knowing exactly what it’s going to become yet.

Here’s to a day of little finds, happy ideas, and plenty of possibilities. :sparkles:

Thank you @Nita_Davis … sometimes an idea strikes me but it takes so long for me to start. :roll_eyes:

Oh, sorry. I should have been more clear … i got Mr. Pa from KKV seeing that there was no sale on kits :rofl: i just thought he’s perfect for my idea.

I love the idea of letting the creativity hit you as you go without a set plan. The pieces you’ve collected so far are adorable. I genuinely cant wait to see where you go with this idea.

This is too cute! The dim sum, panda, and Chinese screen would make such a charming little Chinese tea house scene! :heart_eyes:

Aw such a cute panda!!! And the mahjong tile!!! I play mahjong but only on my phone now. Nobody to play with here. My family used to play mahjong way back home. This brings back a lot of memories!
