Hi!
Yesterday I was supposed to show you this finished BookNook, but since I already posted about the faulty cable, I didn’t want to overload the forum with posts.
As I mentioned, it’s not from Rolife, but I love horror and wanted to make a terrifying kit.
This is the first one I’ve made for this brand, and well, I’ll tell you what’s been happening.
In my opinion, the bookstore is too dark; you can’t see anything inside, even if it’s a horror movie. It would have been nice if some natural light came in from the sides or top during the day.
To show you the inside, I had to use flash for the photos.
One new feature I really liked is being able to use a bit of cobweb design to decorate the bookcase.
There are pieces like those octopus legs; they fall off as you move it, they’re not held securely, there are delicate areas.
I like that it comes with the protective plastic, but since the plastic is so dark it reflects the exterior and makes it even harder to see the interior.
The box is beautiful, it’s terrifying, but as I said, some area where light could pass through would be ideal.
The back has that tiny window that peeks through, but it’s barely noticeable.
The lights on this Booknook are green and red, but the red is far too dominant; the green is barely visible, which is a shame.
You’ll see this better in the video I’ll link below.
The battery compartment is located at the back. It opens by turning the pumpkin.
Positive points:
-
A terrific BookNook, which is rare.
-
Artificial spiderweb for decorating to your liking.
-
Different colored lights.
-
Everything fit together well.
Negative points:
-
Too dark; to see it properly you have to turn it on or shine a flashlight on it if it’s off.
-
Some parts are falling apart.
-
I prefer it to be corded rather than battery-operated.
Here’s the video I made:
I hope you find this post helpful, thanks for reading! ![]()
