[Challenge & Achievement] Amusement Park complete

I was able to replace the light strip with minimal rebuilding! Basically I had to take apart a bit of the top of the carousel.
Once this was done, I could finish the build. And all is well and working!

At the end, I did find 3 pieces that I missed. The good thing is they did not make much difference so I was ok there.

This build is so detailed! I’m glad you were able to fix the problem. The lighting really enhances the mood of the overall build.

Thanks Zoe! I am so glad all came together so well in the long run. I am especially grateful to @CustomerService for helping me as they did!
The lighting makes everything! I realize after I posted, I had included a dark unlit inside. I had taken a picture but realized my assistants were cut off, so I retook but forgot to turn lights on again!

I think the 3 pieces are barely noticeable and the amusement park booknook still looks great and stunning. I love every corner of the booknook. It reminds me of when I was young enjoying the playful rides on the amusement park especially the carousel.

Great job!!! It looks amazing finished. I don’t suppose you could tell me how deep one of the walls is (I mean how far do the shops and stuff stick out)?

It turned out really well, you can’t even tell.

they should not be missed at all. One is from the bottom, one is from the back side of ice cream shop and one is hidden on carousel. So no one would see them

th carousel sticks out about 2 inches, the ice cream shop an inch and on other side, the rounded window 1-1.5 inches

Many thanks my lovely friend!

Hoping that answered tour question! It is similar to the christmas street one

That’s great. I’m trying to sort a few things out in my head lol

LOVE it! I am so happy that the non-working light did not cause you much grief. The 3 pieces…OOPS! Maybe they were spares…and you used the spare so there was no asterisk on it? I have done that before…and then pondered as to whether I put it in…or not?

No, I truly saw where I forgot. One was a funny shaped piece that went along side the USB plug. I do not know how I missed. The other went on back of ice cream cart. The other were the little circle mirrors that somehow I missed on the carousel! I think I was so busy painting, I forgot

OOPS, it happens. Oh well. It looks fabulous AND it works. Well done!

I think it looks amazing! Nope, you can’t tell it all you are missing a couple pieces. I think that someone thinks it’s funny to put in. extra piece on the board to keep us on our toes.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

What a triumphant finish, especially after tackling that light strip swap so smoothly. The carousel looks fantastic and it is wonderful to hear everything is shining and spinning as it should. Thanks for sharing your success with us.
