[Build Progress] Painting is done! (I think.)

This time the process wasn’t as bad as last lol. The cowboys I tried to make a little different but similar to each other. They all have the red bandana identity as a cowboy. Did some paint washing to give them a dusty look.

For the building I primed and painted it to look like a burned out ruin of a church. Idk if I’m happy with it yet but I’m gonna give it a rest before I mess something up

As for the terrain, I really hope It doesnt look like a peanut butter cake anymore lol. :joy: I wasn’t worried as I have to add sand and other terrain pieces to it and I think the colors will come through nicely afterwards. Now to give it a rest for a bit to dry and gather my thoughts for the next step. Thanks for joining me on this journey everyone!

Wow, the base is turning out really realistic! And I love the cowboys! Don’t worry, it doesn’t look like a buttercream cake, haha.

@Nita_Davis you are too kind. Thank you. Nothing compared to your talent but I appreciate the compliment

Wow! You are so good with the colors and painting! Well done! What type of painting are you using?

There is no comparison because we are both talented in different ways… but I could never ever do what you are doing. That is some outstanding work

Combination of enamels and acrylic for the characters. Acrylic paint for the terrain. And I airbrushed a lot on the terrain and building.

It’s no Different than doing a kit! Other than there are no instructions only your imagination and creativity!

My biggest obstacle is that I’m constantly reimagining how they should look. I tend to make changes midway, and if the outcome doesn’t match what’s in my head, I lose interest and end up leaving it unfinished or discarding it altogether.

You have a very Vivid imagination. I could never create something like that from totally nothing. You also seem to be a bit of a historian as well. You have definitely done your homework
