[Build Progress] New project! YeeeHaw! 🤠

So I wanted to share my latest project I am working on. This has been on my mind since before the Mayan Pyramid was completed. But like all things DIY, these things take time to come to fruition.

Having always been a fanatic with the Old West, cowboys, outlaws, indians ( yes I know that’s incorrect term, but it’s what was used and I mean no disrespect) I wanted to capture a scene of outlaws being captured by a posse.

Here is the first pic of what I assume will take a while to complete. This is the arranging step. Where I put together visually what I want to Portray and how I want it to look before locking it down.

The layout is fluid and may change as time progresses. But the characters and idea is set! :tada: many many more steps to come. Including the dreaded miniature figure painting lol you would think I would have learned my lesson painting those mini Mayan figures ! Updates to come as the project progresses!! Oh and say hi to Nicky he’s back and showing strong enthusiasm lol

I love it! What a great idea—plus, you’re using cardboard for the base!

Knew this was yours before I opened the post. I’m excited to see what you come up with Dave.
I have ordered a Saloon from Amazon US that I intend to customise. I want to put a scene out the front of it. I’ve got a 3D printed cowboy (that reminds me of Clint Eastwood) coming from Temu. And I have lots of ideas.
So, I’m excited to see what you have planned here.

Hahaha I’m that predictable huh? I’ve had that one in my list for a while. Not sure why I haven’t gotten it yet lol. Yes Temu is the way to go to get mini characters!! These I found in a second hand craft store that is in the area and squeeled when I found them. I was about to purchase some from Etsy for 40$ lol

Wow!! $40 is a lot.
I’m happy with the stuff I’m finding on Temu right now but I keep telling my husband that if I had a 3D printer it would be much cheaper lol

I tried on my 3d printer! And… it died. I had to order parts and then do a bunch of work on it. Still waiting for parts. But the one I have isn’t able to do such small details on it. I really need a resin printer to do that. Like @mchipman lol

On the Mayan pyramid I did. These are just raw. Everything needs to be primed before I paint them.
