Well I was finally able to finish this kit. So many cute little parts to it.
Pros: that stove is so real looking with its layers for burner!
Those that like more DIY will enjoy the non-snap together that goes with some snap. May enjoy the little bit of wire work for some plants. May enjoy cutting out the paper parts. Because most things do not snap onto walls, you can really place things where you want. Flowers were not cut out type, just punch out.
Cons: The items that are paper cut out were not well chosen. For example the Chimney rock siding. Better if it would have been part of like the H board and preprinted. The floor was a nightmare. I was close to just ripping it off and painting my own. Even with glue for paper, it wrinkled - painful!
Even the wall cabinet and shelf were glued on, not snap in. Afraid this will come down.
Oooh sounds really rough. Even for a complete diy kit. Sounds like you have a good attack plan though
@jeanneL a great honest reaview hun
On this kit … it looks great i think you did a awsome job even with the flooring and cabinet and shelf … the outside area looks
Great !,![]()

Awww… I’m so sorry to hear that you have been struggling on this one. It turned out amazing though. Which kit do you plan on tackling next? By the way…glad to have you back.
Omg it looks beautiful!! I love the lavender at the side. Very pretty ![]()
you did a great job!!
So gorgeous! The flowers and details are lovely
I took my time, worked slowly, no rushing. And I told my self I would enjoy!
That’s a good plan for success. Way to go!
I am glad you like it!
a quick mystery one and then I am hoping to get the Halloween one. I hate to start the dream factory Coffee one until I am home for a bit. My Fluffy pets one is waiting for me at the campground. A little more to it then expected. Not hard, just a lot of little things! Which is good! Really cute thus far
I almost wish I had a littLe more lavender. Better yet, if we had plastic or fake 3D would have looked much better than paper. I could see twisting that onto the wire.
I am glad you like this one. I did too! even if more DIY
I agree that the fake lavender would have been so much better.
I can always change it out if I buy some. I think that is lavendar althoug they look a bit like grapes too LOL
Well, considering that they are on vines, they very well could be.. LOL
It turned out beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful review. I personally prefer the complete diy cut paper and glue kits but for those that dont your review and advice is really helpful.
I think you would like this then. As there is just enough. I did not mind the little bit of wire work and not even the glue the furniture. I definitely did not care for the paper as no matter what glue I use, and I even use a brayer, it just looks bad. But maybe that is just me!
I’m sure its not just you, I use a brand called Art Glitter Glue. Its a white glue that dries clear. I put some on the wood and then use a foam brush and spread it like Im painting so all the surface is covered and it helps to prevent ripples in the paper.
I have heard of that. I was using the Bearly one which is supposed to be similar but I may need to add to my collection!
I also don’t like that paper cutouts need to glue on the wall and floor especially there are a lot of holes that need to be punched out as I might rip the paper.
Your Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen is beautiful. ![]()
