That’s so nice of you. I think there is no choice but to assign this to my husband. I have messed up too many kits because I can’t really get to separate the plastic. Luckily, some kits are already pre-cut.

I guess the good thing is that it is at the back. I can hide it, but I need to get the light work first. hehehehe
I think if there is a competition in making wires, I would be at the very end of the list. I can’t make it work even if it will save my life! Lol!
I hope husband will rescue this kit. If not, I need to request for spare. wahh!

so couple of things: You may be able to go to another kit and shorten the wires saving the extra amount. Many kits have extra length that can be shortened. I have started shortening so I dont have 8-12 inches of wire hanging out. I save the extra.
Sometimes in the book it will show a few hints like pics of the pieces demonstrating different sizes so you can separate right away. Also they may put a hint picture with both sizes side by side showing which to use.
I learned these things down the road, trust me I have had my share of mistakes!
Also I have not done this kit so I do not know what their book actually says.
