Hmm i glue the necessary part that will easily fell off. Sometimes i glue cats inside to not move around for example in my Sunshine town Booknook. When i have a ready set not needed like future city marble run i do not use it. Its also worst with plastic. But in wooden crafting sometimes help to keep all in place. I use the magic glue, it take some time to settle but its get invisible after so its good if you have a problem with it. And its easy to put in right space and make a correction. For instant if i need to glue something to not move i sometimes use the superglue but very often. But trust me you will love magic glue
