I jumped into working on the Aroma Toast Lab Kit as soon as I received it. I was excited about this one because I think it will make a unique Father’s Day gift for my husband. Finally, a kit that he can actually enjoy and use!
When it arrived, I was surprised by how light the box was. I also expected the wooden base board to be thicker and longer. One thing I noticed though, the kit does not include glue or paint eventhough it comes with a paintbrush. It wasn’t a big issue for me since I already had those supplies on hand, but it might be helpful for future builders to know. I may also choose not to paint some parts, such as the chimney cap. Instead of painting it black as instructed, I think I’ll leave it in its natural brown color.
On the first night, I was able to complete the exterior of both the first and second floors. So far, everything has gone smoothly, except for a few thin wooden pieces that broke as soon as I removed them from the wood panel. Thankfully, a little extra glue solved the problem.
I’m really excited to finish this project and hang it on the wall when it’s done!
This is a great start on the toast lab @Pola. You may find that the glue and paints were removed due to customs and imports. It is pretty hit and miss sometimes and some kits arrive with the glue still in it but if customs get to it first then out they go.
I hated my Aroma lab i have trashed mine. Instructions were not clear and things didn’t fit together because I glued things incorrectly due to lack of clear instruction. Im glad you are enjoying it though…
