A Cozy Night in Suzhou: Gardens, Family Time, and a Little Music Store 🎶

Yesterday my little cousin came to Suzhou to visit me :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
While I was at work, she went exploring on her own… wandering through the Humble Administrator’s Garden and the Suzhou Museum. When she got back in the evening, the first thing she did was show me all the photos she took. Let me show you guys now~

So dear Friends~ :eyes:
If you ever come to Suzhou in the future, feel free to contact me~ I’m more than happy to be your tour guide, haha!

After she came back and I got off work, we decided to do something special before bed. We had an early hands-on experience with one of the upcoming Little Store Series kits that will be released on February 26 — the Music Store :musical_notes:
(I’ll try the Pet Store next — and yes, you all know it… instruments and pets are basically my personal paradise.)

Some of our old friends in the community have already shared sneak peeks of this series before, if you’re curious:

  • The details really impressed us.
The musical staff sheet is beautifully done, so detailed that we even asked a colleague from my team who can read sheet music to help us actually play the melody on an instrument. That moment made us laugh a lot.
  • The music note pendants are also super cute and delicate. One small tip for when you build it later: don’t be too “economical” with the wire  If it’s too long inside, the notes will hang very low. Hanging them a bit higher from the ceiling actually looks much better.

  • And the cello… I’m in love. Truly my favorite part of the whole build :yellow_heart:
My cousin sister worked on the accordion, which turned out incredibly adorable. Building together like this really reminded me how much I enjoy creating things with family, it’s not just about the finished piece, but the time spent side by side.

Finally… here’s the finished look :sparkles:
The whole building process felt smooth, immersive, and very satisfying. Every corner feels elegant and warm, and once everything comes together, the little shop has such a cozy, story-filled atmosphere that makes you want to keep staring at it.

The product will be officially released next month . Hope you’re as excited as we are!
Can’t wait to see everyone’s builds when the time comes :two_hearts:

I love the accordion as well. I have it in my collection…That bendable midsection was tough for me.

Aww that’s such a classic route, and yes, Suzhou is right in the middle
You’ll have to come back and complete the trio next time!
