To encourage more thoughtful sharing and highlight the wonderful creations in our community, we’re launching a Weekly Quality Post Selection starting March 11.
Each week, we will review community activity data such as reading time, post participation, and overall engagement, and select a group of qualified users from the backend. These members will be invited (voluntarily) to participate in an anonymous vote to help select the best posts of the week.
How it works
Qualified members will receive a community private message next Wednesday with a short anonymous questionnaire.
In the questionnaire, they will review 10 selected posts summarized in the form and choose the 3 posts they believe are the most outstanding this week. Either from the list or from other posts in the community.
The three posts with the highest number of votes will be awarded.
Rewards
The top 3 post creators each week will receive a $10 no-minimum shopping coupon as a thank-you for their amazing contribution to the community.
Timeline
Activity Start: March 11
First Result Announcement: March 20
Whether it’s your thoughtful building process, a touching story behind your creation, the inspiration in your creative modifications, or even a small idea that sparks encouragement and inspiration for others, your post has the chance to become one of this week’s Featured Quality Posts.
If you have something meaningful to share: photos, tips, experiences, or stories… We warmly encourage you to post in the community.
Your next post might be the one that inspires everyone…
This will be fun! I love that it’s our fellow hobbyists who will vote on this! I will be interesting to see the increase of quality posts invited by this contest.
This is a lovely idea! It’s a great way to highlight inspiring posts and encourage everyone to share their builds, stories, and creativity with the community. I’m looking forward to seeing the picks each week!
A “qualified member” simply means someone who has been quite active in the community. Each week, our system looks at backend activity data such as post reading numbers, posting activity, and total reading time, and selects members who have spent a good amount of time engaging with the community.
Those members may receive a private message inviting them to voluntarily take part in an anonymous vote to help choose the best posts of the week.
So basically, it’s just our way of inviting some of the more active community members to help highlight great posts.
