I agree. I almost lost my oldest during a near drowning accident at the age of two while I was at work. SO happy to see him succeeding at 43. @Kit_Mun

Yes, it was. Luckily, there were two paramedics in close range near the pool when it happened. Still dear to me today.

What.a beautiful and powerful letter with such love woven in. It’s so horrible the way some people have such dark hearts to cause harm to others. But, what champions you and your husband are to be able to be examples of perseverance to your son.
I’m also sorry that you had to go through that but with cancer. Again, you proved to be a beacon of strength for him.
