This is my very first Rolife book nook, and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better one to start with. I had so much fun building the Fairytale Amusement Park—it was relaxing, engaging, and incredibly satisfying from start to finish. I even tried painting the edges this time, and in my opinion, it made a huge difference in the overall look. That extra detail really helped everything feel more finished and magical.
Although the instructions were in Chinese, I had no trouble following along since the pictures were very clear and easy to understand. As I worked through each section of the nook, I felt like I was being transported back to my childhood—wandering through an amusement park filled with cuddly bears, sparkly toys, ice cream stalls, ferris wheels, and of course, the carousel. Each area felt nostalgic and full of charm.
One of my favorite features is the lighting. You can switch between a steady glow and flickering lights, which makes it feel just like a real amusement park at night. I also love that it comes with a dust cover—such a thoughtful touch for display pieces like this.
I highly recommend this kit, even for beginners. It’s a fun, calming build that leaves you with a beautiful piece and a lot of happy memories along the way.
This is a really cool kit! I love all the little details in it, and love the amusement park theme! That the lights can switch between two modes is really neat!
It was definitely hard to make a stop motion for this especially it’s my first book nook. I can’t capture each side nicely, need to figure that one out and maybe try it with my next book nook
You’ve made it beautifully! Painting the edges is a good idea, it adds a little something extra to this book nook. Your video is also very nice; it gives a good overview of the build.
