Twilight Sakura Path update

Day three of working on this beautiful kit. I have to tell you, first , I generally don’t choose Asian themed kits. They just don’t don’t have an appeal to me I guess. So when I won this I was a bit hesitant but intrigued. What a great time to finally do my first one!

Well it’s been an experience. @Cozy.little.palette told me the pieces were small and to take your time. She was right!!

I haven’t done a kit with such tiny pieces before and it’s been kinda hard but I found my groove! This diy kit is so well thought out. From the parchment windows that have to be cut out and glued, to the way the perspective isn’t clear until it’s fully assembled. This kit has exceeded my expectations!

I mean check out these details everyone!

The stone path, the miniature people, the roofs. It’s all beautiful :star_struck: Each story of the houses are built individually and then stacked upon each other at the end.

Tiny cherry blossoms have fallen on the steps and roofs of the building. I have used up my maple furniture marker and need to get another one. But thank fully I got a new pack of furniture markers today that feature grays and white shades ! They work perfectly. I used the grays on the stone steps

One last thing. Let’s have a moment of appreciation for this cherry tree yall….

So well designed it’s really leaving me on the floor.

Hope your builds are going great this week! I’ll post again when this is finished. Cause I don’t wanna give away too much lol

OOHH! For those who care to know, I’m getting a new 3d printer tomorrow. Nice bday gift from me to me lol. So I’ll see what I can do with that to get it set up and don’t expect to work on my kit tomorrow night being busy with that :grin:
