I love that lesson! Miniatures really do remind us that some things can be repaired with patience and care, while others simply have to be accepted and let go. There’s wisdom in both.

Absolutely! Artistic ability comes in so many different forms, and miniatures are a perfect example of how creativity can shine through problem-solving, building, and attention to detail,not just drawing or painting.
Such an inspiring story, @Nita_Davis. It’s wonderful how miniature building gave you that creative spark back after your kids grew up.

As I sit right now waiting for glue to dry! and holding another piece in place and my hand cramps up.

Yesterday and today, I felt like it was one mistake after another.. Biggest was when I thought I put a handle in backwards. I had to squeeze the screwdriver through a tiny space I made to unscrew and turn. Once done, I glued pieces back into place, attached another part, only to find I had it right to begin with.
Took pieces apart again, squeezed the screwdriver through, and put things back to the way they originally were.
I near poked my eyes out.
I consider myself experienced as I have built tons but man am I making errors here. Luckily I have been able to correct!
