The Greenery Haul

A little confession from this miniature crafter… :joy::herb::scissors:

I know, I know… not everyone in the crafting community will agree with my latest decision. Some of you are absolute flower-and-leaf-making legends. You lovingly cut every tiny petal, shape every microscopic leaf, and somehow enjoy making 847 pieces of greenery for one miniature build. :cherry_blossom::herb::clap:

And honestly? I admire you. I really do.

But sad to say… THAT IS NOT ME!:rofl::rofl:

After spending way too much time cutting tiny leaves and flowers, my scissors and I have decided to go our separate ways. :joy::scissors::broken_heart:

So yes, I created myself a little haul of artificial leaves and flowers, and you know what? IT WORKS FOR ME! :raising_hands::herb::cherry_blossom:

Those little beads? Oh, they are no longer just beads, honey. They are now wannabe miniature pots waiting for their glow-up! :joy::potted_plant:

No judgment to my fellow crafters who love making everything from scratch—you all have patience and talent that I clearly did not receive in my crafting package!

As for me? Give me my ready-made greenery, a little glue, and let’s keep this miniature garden moving! :joy::herb:

Sometimes crafting is about creativity… and sometimes it’s about knowing when to say, “You know what? I’m NOT cutting another tiny leaf!”:scissors:

It would be a nightmare for me. I can make a thousand books but not the leaves and flowers hahaha. Good luck on the Oasis!:blush:

@Vangie I am there with you completely!! You should see my collection of plants, and flowers and beads. All in the pursuit of not having to make flowers for kits!

Where did you get this? I’d love to add something like this to my stash! Though I’ll still make the hand stuff by hand, but this would be awesome to have as spare parts and stuff!

The inexpensive Temu :joy::joy::joy: and I finally have some use of the Rolife box. This is where I’ll keep them.

What did you search to find these? Like “miniature greenery”?

This is a nice haul to keep in handy in case we needed more of the greenery

And to make use of the Rolife box too!

No judgement from me. My ‘plant stash’ is quite large as well lol

Brilliant idea @Vangie ! Love that you are so organized too: all the leaves and beads sorted

That’s me and the OCD behavior. Hahahaha. I want everything arranged and organized but can’t find things because I forgot where I placed them :joy::joy::joy:

This is not crazy at all. I think that some of the flatter kits without even paper flowers would really benefit from plastic flowers like this! They’re really pretty, too.

Adding a little bit of plants in a kit really matters a lot!:heart:

I agree, I favour kits with plants and flowers.

That’s a good idea, too. As long as you feel comfortable, that’s what matters.

Artificial leaves and flowers do seem much easier! I would totally get bored and frustrated if I had to make paper plants.
