Thank You 💛

My gift from the FB amusement park contest arrived in the snail mail yay! :snail:

I am beyond thankful to @Robotime for your generousity and to everyone in this community for being so kind and fun! Sounds cheesy I know but I’m honestly so happy to have found this community when I was at a really low point. :face_holding_back_tears: This place has helped me calm my mind and remind myself why I started making kits in the first place. It sounds weird but I’ve learned to appreciate and love myself more. :pink_heart:

I also love knowing that there are people out there who share the same love for this hobby. :purple_heart:

This is my first plastic kit and I’ll save it for when I need a break from more complicated builds. :front_facing_baby_chick:

Congratulations on your prize! I hear ya about finding this community. I’m a bit of a loner and don’t really hangout with anyone outside of work. Not that I really want to hangout with anyone outside of work either!:rofl: But it’s been nice meeting new people who have the same interests as me, and I’m glad I don’t have to leave my house to do it! I’m glad that you found this community and it has helped you get through rough times! It’s nice to be able to escape to a positive atmosphere especially when the world just seems so negative these days.

That sounds like a great idea. We all sometimes need a break from the ones that are a challenge.

Yep honestly I love it here because I get to release my unhinged self and still stay private lol.

I don’t have anyone in real life who shares the same hobbies so I can’t really be screaming at their ears when I’m really proud of what I made.

Like the current one you’re making!

Thank you! Have you made one of the plastic ones before? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I haven’t. And I’m thinking about doing them soon.

Thanks! I love it…except this is my first time EVER doing wire work with a chandelier. I am pretty happy with my results so far, though.

Congrats again!! You’ll see this one is really simple and looks adorable once it’s finished. I’ve built one of these plastic flower bouquets, and they’re super cute. It’s fun that you can open and close them, and they’re definitely sturdier than the wooden ones. I love the wooden flowers too, they have so much charm, but these are absolutely lovely in their own way. I hope you enjoy it when the time comes; it’s one of those perfect little “rescue kits”!

They open and close? :star_struck: Wow! I’m definitely saving this as a rescue kit hahahah I think I’ll need one soon.

Oh that sounds tough! Good luck with it I’m sure you’ll do fine! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You sound like a very nice person to be around. Lots op people would love to be you’re friend i think.

If I remember correctly, yes. Though honestly, my memory is terrible. I think it could be left a bit more open or more closed, but now I’m not sure if it was this one or another flower from the bouquet. Seriously, I have the memory of Dory from Finding Nemo… :smiling_face_with_tear:

AWW that is honestly so kind of you! Honestly I try to be kind to everyone but I can better express myself with words.

In reality I’m an overthinker with depression so it’s all under a shell. But I’m trying to get better!

It’s okay! @Wenbare just keep building just keep building hahahaha.
