Hi all, I just finished building the TGB06 Garden House and I’m trying to open the battery box to insert AAA
batteries. The battery compartment is a black plastic piece recessed into the wooden base, with one screw and an
on/off switch.

I’ve loosened the screw with a screwdriver until it clicks and spins freely, but the cover still won’t come off. I’ve
tried lifting it and gently prying at the edges but it doesn’t budge.

Does the cover slide in a specific direction once the screw is loosened? Are there tabs or clips I’m missing? Any
tips from anyone who’s gotten theirs open would be really appreciated. Thanks!
