I tell myself that when things get rocky, it’s important to slow down time.
In the midst of packing and getting my place ready for being put in the market, the stress was high and it can be overwhelming so I made sure that I take time for doing something to slow me down
This kit, Hearthside Whispers, only took me about an hour to build. The only thing that was challenging was the lamp on the right side of the fireplace. It was fiddly and a bit of a pain but manageable.
.
It felt better after building this. It was a very simple and elegant kit. It’s USB powered too so for me personally,
displaying it on the desk is better than on the wall.
EDIT: I’m adding that there are two light modes. The normal all 3 or just the fireplace. This is what it looks like if the fireplace is lit by itself.
@jeanneL Now I can see the fire even better.
Wins:
-Generally easy and elegant-looking
-tabs fit with minor sanding/hammering needed
-there are three LED lights and they’re very manageable
Not so:
-the standing lamp is quite fiddly. I spent a lot of time on this and I ended up gluing it extensively.
Here’s the video what it looks like in all three light modes on
