this one came in the mail last week, and I unfortunately snubbed the rest of my stockpile in order to put this one together. kitchens are my favorite room in a house - so many great memories are made there, and all five senses are usually engaged in the kitchen. we are touching, we are smelling, we are tasting, seeing, and hearing.
I had a lot of fun with this one. I think my favorite detail is the plates above the sink area, or the open window. I can’t decide. who else has done this kit?
I have this in my stash. I am a slow builder and I tend to buy too much. Hahaha. You did a good job on putting this together. Actually all the details are cute and I cannot choose as well what is my favorite piece. The scale probably as it’s too tiny thanks for sharing this one
This is such a cute kit. As far as scale, I can’t decide if that is a huge “pig in a blanket” or a beef Wellington. I do love all of the details here though. The window actually opening is a really nice feature.
I love how this kit has so many wonderful little details. I’ve completed this kit before and added some home-baked bread for a more personal touch. What I love most about it is that it reminds me of what my kitchen feels like at night, when everyone has gone to bed and I’m all alone, sneaking in for a midnight snack.
This is beautifully designed and you’ve put it together very well. I agree the plates are a lovely touch. That’s always everything else and it all seems to be very well scaled.
I love how you described the kitchen as a place where all five senses come together. It really does make a miniature kitchen feel extra special when it brings back those memories. The plates above the sink and the open window are both such lovely details, so I can see why it’s hard to choose a favorite!
I love all the details in this kit. Like you I really love the little plates all displayed in their little nooks but I also love the little curtain above the window.
There’s so many great details, I really love the open window too, that was one of the first things I noticed about it - it’s like real life try to let the steam from cooking get out and not steam up the whole kitchen
