This is Dehusa Pacheco from Lima, Peru. I’m currently living in California, since I am pursuing my undergraduate degree here in the US. My story with Robotime started a couple of months ago when, after some LEGO obsession, @jives got me the Sakura Book Nook at a random toy-store in town. I absolutely fell in love with this type of building, especially as it adds electronics. (I’ve noticed Robotime uses a specific type of touch-sensitive PCB for lights. If someone knows more about it, I’d love to chat!)
My next kit was the Silent Study Corner, which I ADOOOORED because I’m a huge reader and it looks like my dream reading spot. Attached you’ll find a picture of how happy I was with how it turned out, and, if you look closely, you’ll see that I actually broke the ladder and panicked for 30 minutes on how to solve it jsjjsjs.
Last but not least, for Christmas, I decided to put in some extra hours at work to treat myself to the Dream Gift Factory, which I had been wanting for so long. I’m more of a ROKR girlie, as I’m big on learning about mechanisms, gears, and electronics, so this kit definitely was a perfect fit for me. However, I was going back home for the holidays, so I had to wait until my return to the US. BUT I’M BACK! So, I’ll keep you guys updated on how that build goes. Anyways, thanks for the warm welcome to this amazing community, looking forward to seeing more of your creations!!
I love your enthusiasm and welcome to this community @Dehusa_Pacheco
Looking forward to seeing how this goes for you. Mine is waiting.
If you need help, use the Magnifying glass at top right and search either Dream Factory or Marine Bocquet. Did several youTubes in building this!
Welcome to the community, Dehusa! @Dehusa_Pacheco
Your journey with Robotime sounds amazing, from book nooks to the Dream Gift Factory! We love your passion for mechanisms and electronics. Can’t wait to see your progress and creations. Happy building!
Although I have been a member here since the end of July (I think), I just realized that I have never formally 'introduced" myself. I am a 62 year old housepainter and I discovered these amazing models in late 2023. On a visit to my son, I saw his models and was mesmerized. That Christmas, I received my first ( the globe). from my older son. Even though I struggled a LOT with it, I went on to purchase many more. After about my 6th or 7th, I joined the ROKR official fans book page and saw MANY amazing painted models. I immediately took to painting my own and have now finished around 106? models. I am so thankful to have discovered these as they bring me so much joy and contenment.
Hi I’m Carmen retired maths/science teacher but still doing some casual teaching. Since I’ve been retired I’ve taken up quilting which is an outlet for my creative side. I have also now got time to do all.the things I love like reading, doing jigsaws, watercolour painting and cruising.
Unfortunately I have an addictive personality so once I start things I go all in. I collect barbie dolls(approx 400), paperweights and now robotime kits.
I love, love, love your Barbie collection! I am old enough to remember owning one of the first Barbies (in the black and white striped swimsuit. My mom didnt like clutter though so as I became older, she threw things away. Uggghhh.
I admit I would want to play with them. I loved dressing them up and making houses for them!
I started making book nook kits and 3-D puzzles about a year and a half ago and I don’t know how I’ve lived my life without them! I have made 16 kits now. From miniature kits to my largest which are the ROKR puzzles, I have enjoyed all of them. I love complicated and tedious projects because it takes a lot of focus and is so relaxing for me. Unfortunately, I don’t have room for all of them, so I’ve given many away and they make great gifts and people love them. Most people I know, say they would never have the patience to do make these, so I do take real pride in finishing them!
I’m so excited to be a part of this community and meet like-minded individuals!
Hi there! My name is Roland and I’ve just finished my first kit. The Electric Guitar. The flexible sides were challenging. It was a nice experience.
Maybe I’ll buy another and try to paint it.
Welcome Keely @K-Murphy
Glad to have you in the group! I too have run out of space and have given some away. My husband actually suggested I get another cabinet to display so I am going to look around!
Thank you @Tricia12 . I can’t believe I never did this 6 months ago…LOL! It has been a pleasure getting to know you as well. Thank you for your advice when I was dealing with my elbow stuff. Your care and concern were greatly appreciated.
Hi Everyone
My name is Tricia an accredited pharmacist who have the passion in healthcare and looking after members in our community. I started this hobby in June 2025 and joined Robotime community in September. I have built over 20 kits and have around 30 more kits to build. My collection started to grow knowing I get great support from @Robotime and @CustomerService. The members on here are amazing. We get to shared all different ideas and inspired each other which what I love most about this community. Everyone is so friendly and uplifting. It is nice to interact with others that shared the same hobby.
In December I got an opportunity to hold duy & crafting workshop to connect with local members to build and doing crafting. It was such an unforgettable memories. I could not do without the support of the company. I am very thankful to be part of this community and looking forward to more events and a successful year ahead.

Hi everyone! I have been with the community fot some time already but I have not introduced myself here yet
I’m Jill - a full time mom of a 4yo boy and 9yo girl. My first kit was a Super Creator Cozy Lounge because I was looking for something easy to build and I loved it! I love the quality of the kit and how realistic each detail looked. And it was the perfect backdrop for my figures.
My kids naturally loved it - playing with the furnitures and lights. My family got hooked.
Ever since then I think I have slowly grew my confidence in building wooden, mechanical puzzles. I got lots of help from this lovely community who were so supportive and helpful in every way.
I am so happy to be part of this community. It has become my quiet escape from chores and routines. It has become my happiness
