Santa's Toy Shop Story Frame build day 1

I made a start on Santa’s Toy Shop Story Frame.

I needed something quick and simple while Fairyland dried for today.

There is not as many pieces to this as I though.

Box contents:

Its cute and while it doesn’t need glue, there are a few parts that needed some to reinforce them. Edge painting was kept simple, but there were a few places where I needed more than just a flat single colour.

It is turning out to be very cute.

Anyway, that’s it for today. I will continue on with this one tomorrow.

Ta ta for now.

@chamelionboy I dont think I have seen this one completed before. How photogenic, it is. I think if you could get a hold of some fake snow to put it on the ground and buildings it would make it really life like.

I love what you have done to the light post. Sometimes these cute simple little builds just need something a bit more. Well done.

Thank you @Jo1 . It is my favourite time of year.

With how fast you build—hehe—this one won’t last long.

Thanks Nita

Just a light sash of extra paint took it to looking more 3D than it was.

Well that was kind.of the idea. An extended glue break from Fairyland

Nice kit. I love frame design

That was what sold me on getting this one.

The snow on the streetlamp already gives it such a cozy winter feel. It’s so beautiful!
I actually gave this kit to a friend last year, but I’ve never built it myself! I’m really looking forward to seeing how yours comes along.

The trips to the store really paid off! Can’t wait to see your finished product!

Oh, I loved this one Jason. It is much smaller than I thought and looks great on the wall. I hope you love it a lot.

Thank you @Robotime. I just finished it and pic will be coming along shortly.

Thanks @Vangie. Pics will be going up shortly.
