I’ve been working on the Rolife Sakura Pavilion kit and it’s already turning out so beautiful! Cherry blossom trees have always been my favorite, so watching this little scene come together has been extra special!
This kit is definitely one that rewards patience. The pieces are incredibly delicate, so I’ve been taking my time and enjoying every step. I only broke one tiny piece (), but thankfully a little super glue saved the day! Am I the only one who holds my breath every time I snap a tiny piece into place?
What makes this build even more meaningful is that my grandma gifted me this kit, so every piece I add reminds me of her. She’s so excited to see the finished pavilion, and I can’t wait to show her once it’s complete
I’m hoping to finish it by tomorrow! Even though it’s a smaller kit, it’s been such a relaxing build—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the process. And behind the scenes, I’m also working on a mystery project that’s proving to be quite the challenge… hopefully I’ll be finished with it later this week!
I have mixed feelings about this kit.
I see you mentioned delicate parts; that brings back memories of the pagoda, haha.
In any case, I find the kit too simple—it lacks charm and detail, and it’s very small; I think Rolife should have put a bit more effort into it.
Yes the pieces are very delicate, probably much like the Pagoda. There definitely could be more details added but it’s a nice kit for a short relaxing build. My grandma bought it for me so I couldn’t resist to build it!
