A few weeks ago, I told you I wasn’t really feeling the Sakura Journey kit and was thinking about giving it away. Well, I decided to give it a second chance and keep it after all! :cherry_blossom::sparkles: Today is the big day… I finally took off the plastic wrap and unboxed it! :package::magnifying_glass_tilted_left:

Flipping through the huge instruction booklet got me so inspired and carried away. It’s been a while since I built a model made entirely of wood, but I’m really excited about it! :wood::artist_palette: Before diving into the assembly, I’m going to paint all the different pieces — yes, this model is getting a full makeover for the contest! :jack_o_lantern::fallen_leaf:

I’m about to sketch out the color scheme for each part, and of course, I need to go buy some acrylic markers! :paintbrush::shopping_bags: I’m so thrilled to get started on this! :face_holding_back_tears::sparkling_heart:
