I really loved how this one came together. I don’t like to spend too much time looking at the box because I like to imagine how the early elements I build will come together towards the end. when the walls go up things finally start to make sense. My family was very excited when I finished this, and they said they loved it! my cousin who is into book books said she was inspired to build one she has at home.
I think my favorite detail is the floating cherry blossoms. who else has built this one? what is your favorite detail?
forgot to mention, I got the original “glass plating” for the tram COVERED in glue by accident, so I had to improvise with some cut up scraps. this is why I keep every little thing, so that I always have a plan B!
I have not built this one…but you did a great job. I always save the cellophane/plastic envelopes that some of the paper parts come in for ‘glass’ windows. It has come in handy for me several times.
