Great idea for reusing the plastic, you really can’t even tell its there. I think they will make really cute refrigerator magnets.

This was such a fun build.
I never worried about the tops being open because I have them all in a display case.

I think it looks perfect and when you get the magnets all up I really want to see the fridge! I just love this idea!
