📖 [Rolife Journey] Started the Sakura Garden - Nanci's Study Room

I have just started on the Sakura Garden - Nanci’s Study Room.

It’s my very first miniature house and I immediately got into a sticky situation

I think i cut the glue hole too big :sob: not it’s giving out too much glue and made my cabinets look like a mess.

And I see that it also needs wires. So I’m guessing I have to cut them according to the sizes indicated because I don’t see any small wires. Oh my! I have a lot to learn from this kit.

Wish me luck!

With the strings, cut the strings to the same size. After installing, if there is any excess, you can cut it off.

You can use this bottle to limit glue smudging

O noo :scream: luckily you don’t see it l when the build is done. This was also my first miniature. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine :hugs: good luck and have fun!

In the book is usually a size measure where you can put the wire on to see where you need to cut it.

I think that bottle will be perfect. Thanks for sharing @ThaoNguyen

You have great skills so I’m sure you can get this done beautifully. I really like this build but it’s not available in Australia yet.

I didn’t try that. I will check on my next wires.

I don’t have this bottle  that pointy tip would make it more neat.

About the glue, maybe you can use a toothpick :eyes:

It is usually mentioned in the step itself. Also like when you need a metal rod it shows wich one u need. You can lay the rod on it. It has to be the same size

I have often used a toothpick to apply the glue when this happens.

With glue, I have been squeezing a small amount out on to something and with a toothpick smearing on. That has worked out ok. For wires, I have cut and the instructions usually include some type of tape measure. Some were in the punch outs and some were on the paper with the parts lists for boards. The needed meausrements were in instructions when it came time to actually work on that object. Hoping that helps!

No way — that’s exactly the one I’m about to start too! What a coincidence! :joy: It’s such a beautiful kit. Don’t worry too much about the glue; it happens to all of us the first time. Try using a toothpick or a fine brush to apply smaller amounts — it’ll look much neater. The bottle that @ThaoNguyen mentioned is really useful too. Can’t wait to see your progress!
