I really like this one. Fun to assemble and customize. I changed the wallpaper and painted all of the edges, and painted the desk, stool, and railings. I also made a cushion for the chair that the color happened to match the curtains. Rolife , you nailed the location and access to the battery box…abaolutely love it because it’s hidden yet super easy to open if needed.
If any of you have been thinking about doing this one, go for it!
I’m including a side by side comparison of mine to rhe picture on the box. ![]()

Not saying the original is ugly hahaha.
But they do use a lot of orange.
It looks fantastic
Your custom touches really make it shine, and that cushion matching the curtains is such a nice detail. Totally agree about the battery box, such a smart design choice!
I love the changes that you made, especially the painting

I’m still new to painting my miniatures. I have my standard acrylic pens and bottles. Any paint brands that you can recommend? Well done on all the changes.
@mchipman I bought acrylic markers with a brush tip from Temu and from Amazon…and i just use bottles of acrylic paint from Walmart.
The markers I got from Amazon are Infiart and I love them.
I love the colors that you’ve chosen. ![]()
It’s really a beautiful kit.
I haven’t tried painting yet only used rhinestone stickers for my pendulum so far. But seeing everyone’s work really motivates me to try. Most of the tips I’ve read recommend acrylic markers with brush tips.
