📖 [Rolife Journey] Rowood “Pink Tulip”-TW082 (Complete)

I’m always surprised by how much I enjoy every Robotime kit that I build. These little flower sets are so beautiful from packaging to final project. I found this build to be very relaxing. The pieces fit together in a satisfying way.

I got a green thumb! I added some green paint to the stem but I couldn’t get a good color match for the petals.

Here is the completed flower and vase. I think the pedals look fine without painting the edges. You don’t have to paint the edges for them to turn out ok.

Oh very pretty! :pink_heart:

To be honest I love both painted and unpainted, it’s a personal preference. For me it’s really because I’m too lazy but I’ll attempt it one day.

The wooden edges dont really show. The green is more present then in the original

Yes. It’s much easier to color match the green.

Very nice flower. Quick and easy.

You did a great job. I always like colored edges haha but that’s personal

I wanted to but I couldn’t find a good color match for the light pink.

This kit would be particularly improved by the addition of a matching paint pen.

That would be really nice  i have a lot of paint collected and if i mix some colors i can get the right color to paint the edges

I’m looking for a nice metallic acrylic paint as the marker won’t be enough.

I have metallic markers (they are not acrylic markers) and it covers the edges very well.

I would like to try those some time. I’ve seen people have great results.

Sinterklaas gave me pearlescent acrylic paint. I’m really curious to see how this will turn out. I think I’ll use it for the Gearball challenge.

I’m just afraid the marker is small and won’t be enough to cover a large area.

I painted the gramophone with the acrylic markers, but one pen wasn’t enough. Had to use 3 pens

I just ordered a small set to try out. I’m hoping it will be easier to work with.

It looks beautiful  but I think you didn’t flush the stem of the big tulip all the way.

I have yet to build my tulip - mine is orange.
