I have pretty much finished the kit. I will not get the gold markers until tomorrow, otherwise I think I am done! For the tree I ended up adding both snow flakes and glitter spray. Everything appears to be working. I do have a little squeak. This started when I put my tree on the pole. I tried to wax a bit on those disks that touch pole and tree. but it is still there. You can hear in the video. Was not there before so I know it isnt gears!
Here is my video! Hope you enjoy!
I like your glitter and snowflakes. That adds an extra special touch. The teddy bear is adorable. Great job!
Thank you! I was a bit nervous to build because of mechanics. but I am so glad I did!
You did a beautiful job on this model!
Oh Jeanne, this looks absolutely adorable! Everything shines so beautifully. You’ve done an incredible job with it! Amazing work, truly. ![]()
I love your glitters and the snow flakes. It’s looking so good.
Oh Jeanne! Teddy is perfect just sitting on the steps! I wonder where’s he off to next?
I love the glitter! ![]()
Thanks @JDisaduck
He is heading out to the orient. He made a stop i the North Woods to visit the Lodge (a-frame) but now on his way to see pink Nanci and bunny
That’s amazing. I love your customization. The snowflakes on the pine branches are fantastic.
Thank you so much @ThaoNguyen
I found those in my craft box from when I make shadow boxes!
Your melody tree looks beautiful @jeanneL
Great job with the decorations. I love it!
I have the same problem with our tree. It squeaks and the whole tree wobbles. I didn’t build it (my husband did) so I am not sure where the issue is. But my husband did some adjusting (flushing the pole I think) and the tree wobbling went away.
So exciting. Those things make the model more lifelike.
I actually tried to wax but did not want to remove tree. Will see if it goes away.
You really made your own version
It turned out really cool
i love the snow and glitters you applied to the tree. Really nicely done
Thanks @Liset
I really wanted to do something different otherwise we all look alike. I used some techniques from my ceramics days!
