worked nights for years. always a tough choice of what to do on that last work night. Stay up or sleep. No matter what you choose you feel a little cruddy later!

What a lovely gift to give your mother! Luckily, you were able to fix the chair and Teddy doesn’t sink through it. Have a wonderful Christmas Eve with your mother!

Thank you so much, @Liset! I’m really happy with how it turned out in the end, that little chair gave me a scare, but thank goodness Teddy (a new one, btw) is sitting safely now
I can’t wait to give it to my mother on Christmas Eve. I know she’ll treasure it. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas as well!

Thank you so much, @Tricia12! This one felt easy compared to the old days when we had to do wire work. I would’ve loved to paint it, but I preferred making sure it was all finished before the 24th. I’m really happy with how it turned out!
