This is my new favorite Christmas build! I’m so happy with how it turned out. I’m amazed that wood pieces can make a beautiful wreath! I don’t know how Robotime does it…their designers are incredible!
Once again, I painted the edges of everything so that there wasn’t any plain wood on the pieces.. Matte gold paper pieces came with the kit, but it didn’t really match the other gold items in it, so I painted gold metallic on the ribbons, the pieces in the wreath, and also the background of the snowflake. I also painted lines on the pieces of ribbon that hang down from the bow. I’m not a very good artist, but I tried hard and the sense of accomplishment makes me so happy. I hope my wreath brings a smile to your face and brightens your holiday!
It must be that we live close to each other compared to being across the ocean. I actually did the same. I had just colored my paper with a metallic gold and I opened my ipad and saw your comment. And I then decided to add the gold stripes and so did you! Great minds think alike! except your lines are neater! I also glittered my snowflake and bow.

It turned out absolutely beautiful! All the extra details and painting really make it shine. You should be so proud, @Tkaplan, it definitely brings a big smile and lots of holiday warmth.
Yours looks great, too! The only paper I painted was the bows on the little packages and the curved pieces tucked in between the two layers of the bow. The main part of the bow on top and the ribbons hanging down are my attempts at painting. Lol

I think there’s fun in not being a professional artist but still trying our best. These kits definitely allow us to tap into the creative sides we don’t know we have.
Mine did too at first. Alot of my leaves and things were a bit loose. I glued most everything including gingerbread guy. I put glue around the tab, then stuck the leaf he is on, down. It seems to be ok now
. And you ARE a good Robotime artist. Merry Xmas
