I’ve finally finished building this adorable music box, and it’s such a charming piece to kick off the festive season!

At first, I thought it worked like other ROKR music boxes that you simply wind up to play music, but this one is a little different! It needs batteries to power the lights, while cranking the handle brings the magic to life. The fireplace rotates and changes scenes, the music plays, and the little bears on top move as if they’re playing their instruments! It’s such a delightful little performance to watch!

Building it wasn’t entirely smooth sailing, though. Some pieces didn’t fit together as nicely as I expected, so I had to do some waxing and sanding to make them work. But despite the extra effort, the finished result is absolutely beautiful! Even my kids are fascinated by it and keep playing with it whenever they get the chance.

A cozy little build filled with music, movement, and Christmas magic—the perfect way to welcome the holiday season!
